Job Vacancy For Senior Operations Officers

• To provide technical and operational support in Compliance, Monitoring and Evaluation for the achievement of the mandate of the institution

• Collates inputs for the development of the compliance, monitoring and evaluation framework, systems and tools
• Provides inputs for the analysis of public procurement policy issues
• Collates information for the preparation of assessment, Annual and other reports
• Conducts periodic Monitoring and Evaluation activities in line with public procurement policies, procedures and requirements
• Collates statistical data to aid public procurement policy formulation
• Provides inputs for the production and publication of comprehensive Monitoring and Evaluation reports
• Conducts investigations on breaches of the procurement laws
• Provides inputs for the development of guidelines on procurement auditing
• Prepares draft Annual and other periodic reports of the Directorate
• Responds to external and internal technical issues on public procurement

• A minimum of a Master's Degree in Procurement or any related field from an accredited tertiary institution
• Member of Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (MCIPS) professional body will be an added advantage
• A minimum of 6 years post-qualification relevant work experience in a reputable

• Leadership, networking, monitoring and management skills
• Good communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
• Knowledge and background in Compliance, Monitoring and Evaluation
• Capacity to inspire and motivate
• Team player
• Governance and Policy management
• Good knowledge and experience in public procurement process, practices and regulations
• Proficiency in relevant I.T applications
