Job Vacancy For Managing Director

• Administer and manage the Corporation on a day-to-day basis
• Implement policies and support the formulation of strategic plans
• Ensure the preparation and submission of relevant reports on the operations of the corporate to the Board
• Develop and maintain a management culture that will foster cooperation, commitment, efficiency, accountability, productivity and healthy labour relations
• Develop and implement systems and methods for effective monitoring and control of activities of the corporation and
• Any other relevant duties/responsibilities that may be assigned by the Board

• A Master's Degree in the sciences or Arts, preferably, Mass Communications, Journalism, Business/Public Administration, Engineering, Economics, Management or a Postgraduate Professional Certificate/Qualification or relevant Specialist Industry Training with not less than 10 years post qualification relevant work experience, 5 years of which must be in a senior management position in a reputable institution
• The successful candidate should be able to serve a term of 4 years before he/she attains the compulsory retirement age of 60

• Excellent administrative and supervisory skills

• Excellent communication, analytical and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in computer and software application
• Conversant with the Financial Administration Act, the Public Procurement Act, the internal audit agency act, the National Media Commission Act and the 1992 Constitution
• Excellent marketing orientation and good knowledge of Media networks, particularly the Print media
