Account Officer: Fixed Asset - AT Ghana

• Maintain an Assets addition report at each reporting date.
• Initiate and process asset write offs as per policy and International Financial Reporting Standards
• Reconcile Fixed Asset Register with General Ledger
• Prepare all relevant Property Plant and Equipment Disclosure Schedules
• Process fixed assets disposal as per company policy and applicable IFRS Standard
• Maintain a Schedule for Capital Work in Progress balances.
• Provide for impairment on for CWIP items as per policy.
• Assess, process and Asset Retirement Obligation where required.
• Maintain a detailed Assets retirement report.
• Process Depreciation of Asset at each reporting date
• Provide variance analysis for all Balance Sheet and income statement accounts as assigned.

• The successful candidate will join our team as an Account Officer for Fixed Assets in the Finance Department.
• This individual will report to the Fixed Assets Manager and will be responsible capitalizing all assets that meet the capitalization criteria as per policy.

• Bachelor’s degree. Knowledge of core accounting will be an added advantage
• Minimum three (3) to six (6) years of experience in a related/relevant field
• Part Professional qualification in ACCA, CIMA or ICAG
• A good user of MS Office suites with emphasis on Excel
