The RoleWe’re looking for a Business Development Lead to drive our growth from the ground up. This is an equity-only position (1–5%) at an early-stage startup — perfect for someone who wants to play a key role in building a company and share in its future success.Important: This is not a salaried role at this stage.   • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in software development, IT consulting, and IT services.
  • Build and manage relationships with potential clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Develop and execute strategies for lead generation, sales, and market expansion.
  • Represent Cabbage Technologies at networking events, meetups, and online communities.
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to shape pricing models, service packages, and market positioning.
  • Prepare proposals, pitches, and partnership agreements.
  • Track and report on business development KPIs.

  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or partnerships — preferably in tech or IT services.
  • Strong network and ability to open doors to decision-makers.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently in a startup environment.
  • Passion for technology, problem-solving, and creating value for clients.
What Success Looks Like (First 6–12 Months)
  • Closing at least 3–5 new client accounts in the first 6 months.
  • Establishing 2–3 strategic partnerships that lead to recurring revenue.
  • Creating a sustainable lead pipeline with qualified prospects every month.
  • Increasing brand visibility through industry events, networking, and thought leadership.
  • Direct contribution to revenue growth in line with company targets.
