- Data Collection and Analysis; Collect, organize, and analyze sales data to identify trends, track performance, segment customers, and support market opportunity assessments.
- Reporting and Visualization; Develop and maintain sales reports and dashboards, creating clear visualizations and summaries to communicate insights and performance metrics.
- Sales Forecasting and Planning; Use historical data and market trends to forecast sales, evaluate campaign effectiveness, and recommend data-driven improvements to sales strategies.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with internal teams to understand data needs, deliver insights in a clear and actionable manner, and provide data support for assessing new market opportunities.
- Master's degree in Business Administration, Business Analytics, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience as a Sales Data Analyst or in a similar role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with prepaid metering systems or utility-based sales data is highly desirable.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python, or R for data analysis and modelling.
- Expertise in business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and CRM systems (e.g., Laison, Salesforce). Strong command of Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Familiarity with statistical software (e.g., SPSS, Minitab) is a plus.
- Analytical: Ability to simplify complex sales data into meaningful numbers for decision making
- Attention to detail: Must be very critical and have strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Initiative: Proactive in identifying sales-related opportunities and threats.
- Collaboration: Works effectively with internal and external stakeholders to achieve sales-related targets.
