- School Administrators oversee administrative tasks in our school. He/she will ensure that the organization runs smoothly and they also manage facilities and staff.
- As an administrator you will be organizing the school’s event, procure items needed by the school, ensuring filing and documentation is kept up to date.
- Duties may include using specialist computer software and understanding the requirements of the business you are working in.
- You will be also responding to parents and potential parents – via email, phone, or face to face.
- Preparing, organising and storing information in paper and digital form
- Dealing with queries on the phone and by email
- Managing diaries, scheduling meetings and booking appointments
- Arranging and planning school events (eg, graduation, carols service etc)
- Taking minutes at meetings
- Typing up letters and reports
- Updating records using a database
- Printing and photocopying
- Ordering office supplies
- Maintaining office systems
- Liaising with suppliers and contractors
- Liaising with staff in other departments, e.g. finance, HR etc.
- Providing feedback to parents and careers on a pupil’s progress at parent's meeting and other meetings
- Coordinating activities and resources within a specific area of the curriculum and supporting colleagues in the delivery of this specialist area
- Working with others to plan and coordinate work
- Keeping up to date with changes and developments in the structure of the curriculum
- Organizing and taking part in school events, outings and activities which may take place at weekends or in the evening
- Liaising with colleagues and working flexibly, particularly in our small school
- Understanding and buying into school ethos.
- Ideally, must have a creative art skill
- Making sure all payments of pupils are made
- Any other requirement of the job.
- Minimum of a degree in Business administration/management
- At least 1 year experience
- Good communication skills
- Hand-on with new development
- Must have good knowledge in technology.
- Must be a fast learner and willing to learn and adapt to new changes.
