- Providing overall leadership and direction in the management, strategy and execution of judicial reforms and projects in the judicial service
- Planning, directing, coordinating and leading activities to ensure that goals and objectives are accomplished within the prescribed time frame and funding parameters
- Leading the identification and engagement of development partners
- Collaborating with management, championing the sourcing of funds for identified projects for the Judicial Service
- Leading high strategic meetings and discussions with Development Partners
- Leading the formulation of policies for the implementation of all projects, planning, implementation and closure of project activities
- Reviewing contracts and technical project documents
- Reviewing annual work plans and reports submitted by the Deputy Director of judicial reforms and project officers
- Performing liaison functions and building synergies between the judicial service of Ghana and stakeholders in projects supported by donors as well as other ministries, departments and agencies (MDAs) of other Government institutions
- Building inter-departmental synergies towards the effective realization of organisational strategic goals
- Carrying out overall quality and management of reforms and projects
- Performing any other related duties as when required
- A minimum of a Master’s Degree in Project Management or related field
- Should have strategic, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Should have negotiation skills
- Should have proven ability to interact with top management of other institutions and agencies
- Should possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
- At least 10 years of experience, 5 of which must be in a management position
