Job Vacancy For Deputy Director of Culinary Services and Customer ExperienceApplications are invited from suitably qualified persons to fill a vacancy in the post of Deputy Director of Culinary Services and Customer Experience in the Parliamentary Service of Ghana.Main Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe Deputy Director of Culinary Services and Customer Experience shall provide support to the clerk to parliament the following duties:
  • Ensure the production and delivery of quality and hygienic meals and beverages to members of parliament, staff and official guests
  • Oversee the presentation and serving of food under hygienic conditions which comply with food safety and health requirements
  • Provide technical support in implementing diverse, nutritious and cost-effective menus tailored to the preferences and dietary needs of members and staff, while ensuring consistency and quality in food preparation
  • Assist in coordinating catering and hospitality services for official events, receptions and functions hosted by parliament to ensure a seamless and professional experience
  • Ensure that staff of the unit maintain high standards of professionalism, hospitality and hygiene during food service
  • Perform any other duties that may be assigned by the clerk of parliament
Qualification Required & Experience
  • A good first degree in culinary arts, catering management or a relevant subject from a recognsied university with a minimum of 9 years post-qualification experience in the culinary industry or catering services and a master's degree in the relevant subject with at least 3 years in a position analogous to assistant director in the public service.
