- building strong relations with the local human rights movement and civil society.
- Representing AI Ghana in national and international forums.
- Consolidating organizational systems and performance.
- Strengthening fundraising capacity of AI Ghana.
- Extensive senior-level experience in the human rights field, including leadership of staff and budget management.
- Understanding of national and sub regional human rights and political dynamics and trends and ability to propose innovative solutions to human rights challenges.
- A proven track record of personal leadership, influence and impact, working with diverse teams both locally and remotely.
- Experience representing an organization to the media, government institutions, and international stakeholders.
- Ability and experience developing high quality funding proposals and implementing projects having restricted funding.
- Ability to closely work with the locally elected board, reporting to the Chair of the board.
- An advanced degree on human rights or related field is an added advantage.
