- Conceptualization & Design: Develop creative and engaging graphic designs for a wide range of marketing and communication materials
- Brand Adherence: Ensure all designs align strictly with the university’s brand guidelines, maintaining consistency in visual identity across all platforms.
- Layout & Typography: Possess a strong understanding of layout principles, typography, color theory, and visual hierarchy.
- Image Editing: Perform photo editing, retouching, and optimization for various uses.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, admissions, alumni, and other university departments to understand project requirements and deliver design solutions that meet strategic objectives.
- Asset Management: Organize and maintain a well-structured digital asset library.
- Video Production: Plan, shoot, and edit high-quality video content for promotional campaigns, documentaries, event highlights, testimonials, educational content, and social media. This includes:
- Pre-production: Scripting, storyboarding, shot lists, location scouting.
- Production: Operating professional video cameras, lighting equipment, audio recording devices, and other related gear.
- Post-production: Video editing, color grading, sound design/mixing, motion graphics, and adding visual effects to produce polished final products.
- Content Strategy: Contribute ideas for video content that align with marketing goals and resonate with target audiences.
- Live Event Coverage: Provide videography support for key university events (e.g., matriculation, graduation, conferences, public lectures).
- Asset Management: Organize and archive video footage and project files efficiently.
- Equipment Management: Ensure proper care, maintenance, and readiness of all video equipment.
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia Arts, Visual Communication, or a related field.
- Experience:
- Minimum of two (2) years of proven professional experience in graphic design and videography, preferably within an educational institution or a client-facing agency.
- Strong portfolio showcasing diverse graphic design work and a reel/collection of video projects.
- Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (specifically Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects).
- Proficiency with professional video cameras, lighting, and audio recording equipment.
- Experience with motion graphics and animation is a significant advantage.
- Familiarity with project management tools and digital asset management systems.
- Exceptional creativity and artistic flair with a keen eye for aesthetics and detail.
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Problem-solving attitude and ability to adapt to changing priorities.
