Job Vacancy For Director of Nursing Services

• Sets standards and plans for nursing/midwifery practices in the hospital
• Ensures equitable distribution of nursing and midwifery personnel in the hospital
• Prepares regular and annual reports to the Chief Executive Officer
• Collaborates with the HR Department to assess training needs and development of nurses and midwives
• Participates in policy development, analysis and review the affect nursing and midwifery services
• Ensures that all patient are plans have the documentation necessary to provide the proper type of care
• Contribute to research and development activities in nursing and midwifery within the hospital
• Establishes and promote networks with local and international nursing and midwifery organisation

• Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Nursing/Midwifery with at least 7 years experience as practitioner
• The last 5 years must have been in a management position
• Qualification in health services management or clinical leadership would be an advantage
• Valid PIN
• Must possess outstanding critical thinking and organizational skills as well as in-depth knowledge of healthcare industry policies
• Must be a good team player with good interpersonal and conflict management skills
• Previous work experience outside Ghana would be an added advantage
