Job Vacancy For Chief Operations Officer

• Planning, directing and managing of business development activities for the company to ensure achievement of agreed sales target
• Keep abreast with market and regulatory changes to identify business opportunities, as well as risk or threats and plan appropriate business strategies to stay ahead of competition and ensure regulatory compliance
• Prepare and give monthly performance update to ALCO ad board of Directors
• Development and implementation of effective appraisal systems for staff for the purpose of staff evaluation and rewards
• Provide leadership to the credit & recovery team to ensure proper decisions are taken which are in compliance with the company's credit policies
• Handling risk management and control standards by ensuring compliance with all policies, procedures and codes, including money laundering & KYC by ensuring training for all direct reports
• Create and ensure an efficient banking operations environment within branches and at the head office
• Ensure an excellent customer service practice across the institution
• Design and implement modules aimed at reducing arrears by clients and improving loan porfolio quality
• Design and implement new products meant to grow the company's revenue
• Review product prices half yearly to improve margins

• Must have a minimum of a Master's Degree in any business related field. A professional qualification will be an advantage
• Must have been in Senior Management capacity, providing similar functions for not less than 5 years
• Must be ready to go through a Bank of Ghana Approval
• Be sales-oriented
• Excellent understanding of credit analysis and bank operations management
