- As the Full-time manager of the Academy, be responsible for the general administration of the secretariat, including records, publications, the library, fellows data and archives
- Provide service to the council, the General Meeting of Fellows and committees of the Academy's public events
- Work under the general guidance of the honorary secretary and the council to implement the academy's strategic plan
- A good first degree with at least 5 years relevant experience in a Senior Assistant Registrar position at a public university or at least 8 years experience in a senior management position in the public/private/non-profit sector
- A second degree in the social sciences, sciences, arts or any relevant discipline
- Proficient use of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and electronic communication skills
- Ability to communicate effectively and excellent report writing skills
- Good command of the English language - Oral & written
- Evidence of managerial and administrative leadership and capacity to promote a collegial working environment in the academy
