- The Manager of Growth Office is responsible for supervising and coordinating all activities in the Growth Office unit, boldly positioning the Deloitte Brand in the markets we play in.
- Deepen the Firm's Growth Office delivery in the market.
- Develop and document an annual strategic market plan, setting out our understanding of the market, who we are and where we want to play, the relevant structures and processes required for successes and how we will measure performance.
- Enhance our winning business culture to ensure that all people involved in our market facing activities are aware of their responsibilities to sell in a One Deloitte context and are motivated and equipped to do so.
- Build on our industry programmes to enable us to dominate in our chosen industries by:
- Focused positioning
- Concentrating on key clients and prospects
- Setting targets and
- Mobilizing, coordinating and supporting our activities for marketplace success
- Build on and introduce new appropriate client programmes, including:
- Client account teams and planning
- A distinctive client experience programme to differentiate us in the market
- Lead client service partner training and development
- Client service assessments to measure the success of our client engagement.
- Boldly position our brand through:
- Leveraging off the global activities
- Targeted development and distribution of appropriate thought leadership to position our capabilities and the eminence of our people
- Exploring and using appropriate channels, including digital marketing
- Introduce new Growth Office enabling processes including knowledge management, research and customer relationship management.
- Participate in the appropriate Growth Office governance processes including integration with the African and Global Growth Office structures of Deloitte.
- Contribute to embedding quality practices within the Growth Office function.
- A minimum of second class upper in a relevant bachelor's degree.
- Master's in business administration (MBA)
- A professional qualification in marketing. (CIM-UK/CIMG)
- 10 years cognate experience in industry or professional services delivery.
- Proficiency in the use of computer packages such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project Office, Access, etc.
- Self-starter with initiative and ability to manage a variety of programs.
- The ability to work with various stakeholders and across different levels within and across the organization as well as outside.
- Numerate with the ability to analyze and interpret data.
