Job Vacancy For Credit Management Officer

• Maintain statistics on recoveries
• Keep track of outstanding debts
• Plan a course of action to recover owed money
• Locate and contact defaulters
• Update account status and database regularly
• Comply with requirements when legal action is unavoidable
• Ensuring accounts statement are generated, issued and/or administered on time and consistent with legislative and audit requirements
• Arrange negotiations with members on arrangements regarding payments and make recommendations to management to ensure departmental guidelines with installment agreements are adhered to
• Contribute to the achievement of team and organizational objectives
• Contact default members by telephone, letter or email to agree on debt recovery plans and follow up as appropriate

• BSc / HND in Accounting or Marketing
• 2 to 5 years of experience in debt recovery in a financial sector

• Strong planning and organizational skills
• Proactive and ability to take initiative
• Able to work within a team as well as independently
• Able to handle pressure and tight deadlines
• Natural ability to interact with people from various backgrounds and various levels
