- Ensure all HR operational activities comply with relevant labour legislation and company policies.
- Execute time-sensitive HR processes efficiently, including payroll inputs and reporting deadlines.
- Manage employee grievances and investigations, ensuring proper documentation and procedural compliance.
- Monitor time and attendance to ensure accurate payroll processing and regulatory compliance.
- Implement and manage core HR processes within operations, including performance management, succession planning, onboarding, and offboarding.
- Drive and support the annual performance appraisal cycle to ensure performance clarity, accountability, and recognition.
- Support continuous improvement of talent management processes, including performance/potential management, workforce planning, and succession planning.
- Assist in recruitment, onboarding, training coordination, performance evaluations, and exit procedures.
- Support regional and corporate HR initiatives, including Employer Value Proposition (EVP) programs.
- Accurately capture and manage operational HR inputs, including workforce data, shift schedules, time controls, and employee records.
- Maintain up-to-date and confidential employee records reflecting employment status changes and organisational movements.
- Ensure HR systems are regularly updated to reflect accurate employee and operational data.
- Prepare and analyse HR KPIs and reports to support informed decision-making by operational and HR leadership.
- Provide workforce data to support budgeting and resource planning processes.
- Provide coaching and guidance to people leaders on performance management, disciplinary processes, and general HR matters.
- Conduct exit interviews and analyse trends to identify root causes of turnover, coaching managers accordingly.
- Support learning and development initiatives by identifying capability gaps and coordinating relevant training interventions.
- Deliver and embed people capability projects at site level.
- Support the delivery and reporting of employee engagement surveys, ensuring accurate interpretation of feedback and action planning.
- Assist in the implementation of Diversity & Inclusion and employee wellbeing initiatives at site level.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Social Sciences or a related field.
- Relevant professional HR qualification or equivalent experience is advantageous.
- Minimum of 5 years' HR experience, with at least 2 years in an operations-based HR generalist role.
- Demonstrated generalist experience across industrial relations, organizational development, training and development, remuneration and benefits, and staffing (recruitment, selection, placement).
- Strong understanding of HR processes, best practices, and labour legislation.
- Solid analytical and data management capability with experience in HR reporting.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to meet critical deadlines.
- Strong communication, facilitation, and coaching skills.
- Ability to engage effectively with employees and senior management.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and motivate others.
- Ability to prioritise, delegate, and manage competing demands in a dynamic operational environment.
