Reports To: Maintenance Supervisor / Mechanical EngineerJob SummaryThe Mechanical Technician will support the maintenance team in ensuring the efficient operation, repair, and maintenance of all mechanical equipment and machinery. This role is suitable for a fresh graduate looking to gain hands-on experience in industrial and manufacturing operations.Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical equipment and machinery.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on production machines.
- Troubleshoot mechanical faults and support in resolving breakdowns.
- Ensure proper lubrication, alignment, and calibration of machines.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
- Support senior technicians and engineers during major repairs and overhauls.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures.
- Participate in continuous improvement and cost-saving initiatives.
- Assist in minimizing machine downtime and improving operational efficiency.
- HND / Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Must be a fresh graduate or have a maximum of 1 year experience.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical systems, tools, and maintenance practices.
- Ability to read and interpret basic technical drawings.
- Willingness to learn and work in a factory environment.
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office is an advantage).
