Enroll your child at TechTots, where bright futures begin.[ad]Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role for an Early Childhood Educator, based at our Pokuase campus. Early Childhood Educators at TechTots are responsible for delivering engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences that reflect the Cambridge Early Years Curriculum and Reggio Emilia principles. Educators will plan and facilitate lessons that promote exploration, inquiry, and discovery across literacy, numeracy, social-emotional development, and creative expression.Daily responsibilities include:
  • Designing and implementing learning activities tailored to specific age groups (Infant, Toddler, Nursery/Preschool, or Reception)
  • Observing, documenting, and assessing each child’s development to inform individualized planning
  • Creating an organized, safe, and inspiring classroom environment with purposeful learning zones
  • Building strong partnerships with parents through regular communication and progress updates
  • Collaborating with colleagues to maintain high standards of teaching and care
Qualifications
  • Strong knowledge of early childhood development and experience working with children aged 6 months to 6 years
  • Skills in designing child-centered learning experiences aligned to the Cambridge Early Years Framework
  • Familiarity or training in Reggio Emilia-inspired practice is an advantage
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Creativity, flexibility, and strong organizational abilities
  • Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
  • Prior teaching experience in an early years classroom (preferably in an international or play-based program)
  • First Aid and CPR certification is a plus
