- To lead and implement strategies to drive revenue growth, market expansion and overall business development for the company
- Provide technical expertise in the development of business development and marketing strategies / plans as input into the overall Corporate strategy
- Lead and direct the development of policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), work plan, control systems and other monitoring mechanisms in managing the business development department to achieve targeted objectives
- Responsible for communicating, integrating and monitoring the implementation of an approved business strategy and plan for all staff of the company
- Provide leadership in the formulation of the company's marketing and sales strategies to effectively improve and optimize revenue growth, expand business and improve sales productivity
- Development team in sourcing, managing and implementing new business opportunities/initiatives in line with the company's overall business strategy
- Lead and direct research / studies to identify target markets and develop applicable pricing models based on research findings for management approval
- Lead in promoting the company's brands and value through established products and service delivery platforms
- Spearhead the marketing effort/functions of the company to maintain a visible and active presence in the market and enhance new business acquisition whilst supporting existing relationships
- Post-graduate degree or its equivalent professional qualification in Business Administration.
- Marketing, finance, economics or related fields
- Membership of a recognized professional body. (CIM)
- Must have 10 years of working experience in a relevant discipline with at least 5 years in a management position
