Active media engagement & brand reputationKey TasksDesign, develop, and deploy machine learning models to drive revenue-generating initiatives such as churn prediction, cross-sell/upsell recommendations, propensity modelling, and customer win-back strategies.Build advanced customer segmentation frameworks to support targeted advertising, monetization via DataCo, and digital product personalization.Develop predictive models to forecast user behaviour, spending patterns, and engagement trends, enabling proactive decision-making across the Digital Division.Create prescriptive algorithms that recommend optimal interventions to improve retention, ARPU, conversion, and customer lifetime value.Build and operationalize recommendation engines and personalization models to enhance customer interactions across MTN’s Digital products, services and platforms.Analyse in-app behaviour and interaction patterns to deliver insights that drive UX enhancements and feature prioritization.Design and execute A/B and multivariate tests, evaluating impact on engagement, conversion, and monetization.Translate experiment outcomes into actionable product improvements and commercial strategies.Work closely with Digital Services, Platforms, Mobile Advertising, and Channel teams to operationalize AI models into customer journeys and product experiences.Partner with IT, Data Engineering, and DataCo to ensure scalable deployment of models in production environments.Develop models to support DataCo’s monetization strategy, including behavioral targeting, advertising segment scoring, and look-alike audience generation.EducationA First Degree in Computer Science, Data Science or a business field .of study
Google Analytics and SQL certification a must
Experienced user of Python (Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch), BigQuery ML, Google Vertex AI, AWS/GCP AI services
Experience 5 years related work experience in a digital organization or the digital/analytics department of an organization, with at least 3 years in a supervisory position.
Proficient in SQL for extracting and manipulating large datasets
Good working experience with Excel, Power BI, and Python for analysis and reporting automation
Understanding of statistical analysis, A/B testing, and funnel metrics
Experience in data cleaning, feature engineering, and data modeling to support machine learning use cases
Familiarity with digital KPIs such as subscriber growth, engagement, ARPU, churn, and revenue forecastingProfessional/Technical Competencies:Strong knowledge of all main analytics tools and techniques
