- Lead the creative development on clients/brands/projects assigned to the creative team
- Discuss and understand client business objectives and provide strategic creative solutions
- Inspire and improve the level of integrated creative thinking within the team, and also contribute to raising the creative bar at the agency by working closely with the Executive Creative Director, Strategy Lead and Head of Office
- Oversee the development of campaigns and prepare detailed, effective presentation of the work
- Keep abreast of the latest advancement in technologies used in creative direction and understand the progress in marketing technologies
- Collaborate with agency partners to organize cohesive brand messaging across platforms (with specific importance on Digital)
- Direct activities for professional development of organizational team members, conducting creative workshops for staff members, implementing corrective strategies, and recommending promotion of team members based on their productivity
- Make important decisions that ensure the organizational profitability without compromising the creative quality of the project
- Build productive client relationships to guide the agency and brands in a positive, intelligent direction
- Protect the agency's reputation by maintaining a high level of creative output
- Protect brand properties by ensuring all production meets brand standards and accurately represents brand guidelines
- Raise the agency profile by challenging the status quo of current work and raising the bar
- Manage the creative development of work for new business pitches to benefit the growth of the agency
- Share information, ideas and opinions in a way that contributes to solutions
- A tertiary qualification is Art Direction / Design
- At least 10 years' experience as an Associate Creative Director or Creative Director
- Familiar with the advertising industry and an understanding of production procedures
- (advertising agency experience is essential)
- Proficient in Apple products (i.e. Mac)
- Knowledge of applicable design, presentation, and word document software (i.e. MS Word, PowerPoint etc.)
- A good command of the English language (both verbal and written)
- Strong leadership, organizational and time management skills
- Strong presentation skills
- An in-depth knowledge of current platforms and keep abreast of current and evolving trends
- Team player
- Ability to prioritize and co-ordinate multiple responsibilities and tasks in a pressured and dynamic environment
