In this role, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate employee attendance data across departments. You will monitor daily attendance records, input and verify attendance data, and ensure compliance with company attendance policies. This role requires strong analytical skills and advanced Excel capabilities to support attendance tracking, reporting, and payroll preparation. The Attendance Officer plays an important role in ensuring accurate workforce records and supporting efficient HR operations.Key Responsibilities
  • Collect, input, and verify daily attendance data from different departments to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Manage and maintain employee attendance records through the attendance system and internal databases.
  • Review and reconcile attendance data, including clock-in/out records, overtime hours, shift schedules, and leave records.
  • Identify discrepancies or abnormalities in attendance records and coordinate with department supervisors to resolve them.
  • Prepare and maintain weekly and monthly attendance reports using Excel for HR and management review.
  • Ensure attendance records are properly documented and aligned with company attendance policies.
  • Support payroll preparation by providing accurate attendance and overtime data.
  • Assist in monitoring attendance compliance, including lateness, absenteeism, and shift attendance.
  • Maintain proper filing and documentation of attendance-related records.
  • Assist in improving attendance data management processes and reporting efficiency.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Statistics, Data Management, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in attendance management, data management, or administrative roles.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, data analysis, and reporting.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills with high attention to detail.
  • Experience in handling large volumes of data and ensuring data accuracy.
  • Good communication and coordination skills when working with multiple departments.
  • Ability to work independently and manage routine administrative tasks efficiently.
  • High level of integrity and confidentiality when handling employee information.
  • Experience in manufacturing or factory environments is an advantage.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English.
