- Serve as the academic authority, ensuring instructional quality, rigor, and alignment across all programs
- Define and maintain the organisation’s professional learning philosophy, instructional frameworks, and implementation standards
- Represent the organisation as a subject-matter expert in pedagogy, teacher development, and education systems
- Lead the design and adaptation of professional learning programs for teachers, school leaders, and education partners
- Ensure alignment of all programs with national curricula, teacher competency frameworks, and global education standards
- Oversee implementation models across diverse contexts, including NGO-led programs, government initiatives, and school-based deployments
- Review and validate all instructional content, lesson-planning frameworks, and assessment approaches within the platform
- Ensure contextual relevance while maintaining alignment with international best practices
- Guide localization efforts across countries and education systems
- Design teacher professional development pathways that support instructional improvement and sustained platform use
- Support training-of-trainers models and institutional capacity-building approaches
- Establish quality assurance processes to monitor instructional fidelity and learning outcomes
- Work closely with the Partnerships Manager to provide academic input into partnership discussions and proposals
- Collaborate with the Partner Success Manager to ensure effective onboarding, training, and ongoing support
- Advise product and leadership teams on pedagogical requirements and educator needs
- Define success metrics related to instructional quality, teacher engagement, and learning outcomes
- Support evaluation, feedback loops, and continuous improvement of professional learning programs
- Contribute to research, documentation, and thought leadership that strengthen the organisation’s academic credibility
- Master's degree in Education required; PhD strongly preferred
- 15+ years of experience in education, with deep expertise in program design, curriculum development, and teacher professional learning
- Senior leadership experience within education systems, NGOs, academic institutions, or large-scale education programs
- Demonstrated experience aligning programs to national curricula and international education standards
- Strong background in teacher development, instructional coaching, and adult learning theory
- Experience working across diverse education contexts, including low-resource or emerging-market environments
- Exceptional communication skills and ability to engage credibly with senior education stakeholders
- Strategic thinker with the ability to translate academic vision into scalable, practical implementation
- Comfortable working in a for-profit education technology environment
- Reliable laptop and internet connection
- Willingness to travel locally for trainings, partner engagements, and site visits
