Group Head, Management Accounting by Reputable Organization

• Set budget preparation guidelines
• Designing of budget template
• Assist General Managers and Group Heads in preparing business unit and departmental annual budgets
• Consolidation of department and business units budgets at the Group level
• Coordinate budget review sessions with Chief Finance Officer and Group Chief Executive Officer
• Incorporate reviewed inputs into the finalized company budget for board reviewing

• Formulating the departmental and business units monthly cost review reports for Chief Finance Officer
• Initiative reclassification of expenses and cost into their right bookings
• Undertake variance analysis for performance and cost tracking and recommending ways of cutting cost
• Seek explanations to unfavorable variances that have the potential against annual targets
• Cost variations and trend recommendations to management for forecasting for decision making
• Preparation of forecast cash flow statements for loan restructuring, acquisition and management
• Forecasting of revenues (discounted cash flow analysis) for new stations or investments

• Maintain and update periodic cash forecast and advise on any variance
• Supervise bank transactions and ensure timely preparation of Bank reconciliation
• Engage and advise on funding options to sustain company operations

• Work closely with the procurement team to optimise engagement with suppliers nd ensure timely payment and reconciliation

• Chartered Accountant with MBA, Finance or Accounting
• Minimum of 10 years experience in Finance, out of which 4 years must be in a Senior Management role

• Should be able to prepare financial statement and projected versions
• Strong understanding of forecasting and budgeting
• Greater appreciation of IFRS and acceptable accounting standard in the Ghanaian jurisdiction
• Proficient in any good accounting software, SAP is preferred
• Familiar with Financial Modeling tools
• Advance excel and knowledge in pivot tables
• Good understanding of accounting standards and Ghana Tax laws
• Ability to use Microsoft Office Applications
