Job Vacancy For Supervisory Contractor, Transport Implementation

• To Supervise and Coordinate Fibre deployment, fibre Relocation, Terminal Equipment Optimization and Adhoc Projects according to MTN Specifications, Quality standards, PPP and CPM Tool Kits

• Provide technical support in the delivery of a range of optical & IP network project deliveries including backbone, metro and FTTH fiber projects, Microwave, as well as MTN Ghana's IP/MPLS network.
• Supervise cross functional projects
• Coordinate the release of migration/Integration Work Orders for IP and Ethernet network systems at both the core and the access network level
• Create IP Integration and service migration project work plans, schedules, and implement strategies to ensure quality IPRAN project delivery
• Manage the day-to-day operational aspects of an IPRAN/MPLS project to ensure deliverables are achieved on time and within approved project budget.
• Follow up on RoW vendor and RoW permitting agencies for the timely issuance of RoW permits for IPRAN and FTTH project implementation
• Create project and budget lines in ERP systems for the release and issuance of Purchase orders and the system implementation of project capitalization processes.
• Monitor adherence to project scope, resource plans and quality standards in the delivery of IPRAN and FTTH networks
• Coordinates' IPRAN migration process and follows up on stakeholders in the timely execution of their respective actions
• Arrange and lead in the organization of weekly IP/Fiber project meetings for both vendor, customer and MTN
• Identifying and continuously managing/mitigating project risks and issues, to ensure that delivery is not negatively impacted
• Create, maintain, and disseminate project information to stakeholders, and drives effective teamwork for all project team members

• BSc Electrical/Electronic, Telecoms and Civil Engineering or any related Field
• Certificate in IP Network implementation (CCNA desired)
• PMP Certification (Added Advantage)
• Google Map and GIS tools

• 2 years of experience in the telecommunications industry with an emphasis on IP/MPLS/Fiber systems implementation
• 1 year as a project team member or a project coordinator role
• Knowledgeable in IP, GPON, FTTH and active fiber deployment
• Adequate experience in reading and interpreting Google map drawings and designs

• Good knowledge & understanding of transport (IP and Fiber) network engineering and implementation.
• Microsoft suite (Word, Excel, Access, and Project)
• Familiarity with a variety of mapping, GIS and CADD drafting programs
• Ability to Work with Google Earth KMZ's and KML's
