- Work closely with cross functional teams for the design and implementation of any new service.
- Ensure proper handling of all third-party nodes and content provider
- Coordinate and assist with the integration of third party suppliers
- Provide expert advise on solutions and platforms
- Critique and analyse existing solutions and prescribe recommendations for enhancement and efficiency.
- Coordinate and Support the Managed services supplier and ensure appropriate KPI monitoring.
- Provide knowledge transfer to IN and VAS Team
- Prescribe ways of reducing IN and VAS complaints and reduce resolution time based on process improvement and data analysis.
- Ensure IN and VAS systems access security are compliant with the internal IT policies
- Ensure adherence to Proper Change Management Process and documentation of all executed tasks.
- Provide input into improving the Operation & Maintenance process of the IN and VAS systems.
- Prepare & design all needed process & procedures relevant to the tasks performed by the section internally & externally.
- Review daily, weekly and monthly reports and dashboards (Activity, Performance, KPIs, Statistics and Marketing reports etc.…) and provide expertise advice and insight to IT management
- Ensure Efficient Operation/Monitoring/Optimization of the services related to the IN and VAS platforms.
- Monitor the performance and availability of the IN and VAS systems
- Supervise and review daily system checks and initiate actions accordingly
- Assist in the handling of emergencies on the IN and VAS Systems.
- Minimum of a BSc. Computer Science / Engineering or its equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant IT experience in same or similar role in Telecoms with
- Expert in DB administration (Oracle / SQL)
- Expert in Solaris and Unix Operating systems
- Expert in Unix shell scripting
- Expert in NFS and clustered storage solutions
- Knowledge in GSM Services and technologies
- Knowledge in data presentation and analysis
- Knowledge in Project Management
