Job Vacancy For Geodetic Engineer/SurveyorA reputable building, civil and mining construction company operating in Ghana invites interested and qualified applicants to apply for the following position: Geodetic Engineer/SurveyorThe Geodetic Engineer/Surveyor is responsible for measurement of planned and approved project areas using satellite observations, equipment or related sources and verifying the accuracy of data collected.Key Responsibilities

Plan or direct the work of geodetic surveying staff, providing technical consultation as needed
Distribute compiled geodetic data to the project team and clients as required
Verify the mathematical correctness of newly collected survey data
Review existing standards, controls or equipment used, recommending changes or upgrades as needed
Maintain databases of geodetic and related information including coordinate, descriptive or quality assurance data

Qualification required & experience

Must have a proven experience as Geodetic Engineer for minimum of 10 years
Competency in the use of GPS and other survey instruments as well as the analysis and interpretation of survey data
In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment and standard OSHE guidelines
Must have track record of good leadership skills and be able to drive production on schedule
Ability to communicate and report effectively using appropriate ICT channels
Fluency in written and spoken French is added advantage
