A reputable MEP engineering solutions provider in Accra is seeking a Ghana-based Electrical Engineer with expertise in solar PV systems to support renewable energy projects. The role involves contributing to system design, installation, and performance optimization while ensuring safe and efficient project delivery.Key Responsibilities
  • Design, installation, and commissioning of solar PV systems
  • System sizing, energy yield analysis, and component selection
  • Integration of solar systems with existing electrical infrastructure
  • Troubleshooting and maintenance of solar installations
  • Monitoring system performance and optimizing efficiency
  • Interpretation of schematics and technical documentation
  • Ensuring compliance with renewable energy standards
Required Skills or Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • 2+ experience in the industry
  • Proven experience in solar PV system design and installation
  • Familiarity with tools such as PVsyst, Helioscope, or similar is a plus
  • Strong understanding of inverters, batteries, and grid systems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
