- Assist the EPC Project Team during the Construction, Installation, and Commissioning Phase.
- Provide support with the review of Authorized for Construction drawings (AFCs), P&IDs, and commissioning checklists.
- Provide support with the review of all Red Lines and As Built Drawings to confirm accuracy and compliance with original designs and modifications.
- Assist in supervising and completing installation tasks during the construction phase, while ensuring adherence to industry regulations and company policies.
- Provide support with ensuring that warranty and punch list issues are effectively managed during construction and after commissioning the facility.
- Provide support with ensuring adherence of quality assurance and quality control (QAQC) standards.
- Ensure the reliability and maintainability of the equipment installed.
- Support the creation and implementation of a comprehensive asset maintenance plan, incorporating predictive, proactive, preventive, and corrective maintenance strategies to enhance equipment reliability and performance.
- Utilize predictive and non-destructive testing methodologies to identify, isolate, and resolve inherent reliability issues, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum operational efficiency.
- Ensure the optimal use of the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to streamline maintenance tasks, track performance, and drive continuous improvement in maintenance operations.
- Oversee the life cycle asset management of the plant, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and longevity of all equipment and systems through strategic planning and maintenance.
- Provide input to a risk management plan that will anticipate reliability-related and non-reliability-related risks that could adversely impact operations.
- Propose engineering solutions to repetitive failures and all other problems that adversely affect operations.
- Execute predictive and preventive maintenance to eliminate catastrophic downtimes and unplanned maintenance.
- Prepare supporting documentation for all activities that require a permit to work.
- Maintain required regulatory documentation updated.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electromechanical Engineering is mandatory.
- Master’s degree in related field is a plus.
- Multicultural experience is a plus.
- A minimum of 4+ years of experience in a similar role in the oil & gas industry.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements for operating plants, including Process Safety Management, OSHA regulations, EPA regulations, EEOC guidelines, and other federal and local requirements.
