Job DescriptionJ.O. Agyapong Company Limited is a Ghanaian-based, international building material company specializing in the importation and production of Turkish security doors, as well as local doors. Their services include customization of doors and door locks, smart locks, local doors production, smart lock importation, installations, and after-sales servicing. The company is located in Accra, Ghana.Key Responsibilities:
  • Install a variety of security doors, smart locks, pivots, and related hardware at client sites.
  • Perform basic welding and use power tools (e.g., drills, grinders, cutting tools) during installation.
  • Take precise measurements and follow technical specifications for fitting and mounting.
  • Assist with lifting, transporting, and setting up doors and frames.
  • Carry out minor metalworks and on-site adjustments to ensure proper alignment.
  • Troubleshoot installation challenges and provide timely solutions.
  • Maintain safe working practices and properly handle equipment and materials.
  • Work closely with the Production Head and team to meet daily job targets.
  • Ensure job sites are clean and tidy after installations.
  • Provide customers with brief post-installation instructions on door or lock usage.

  • Proven experience in door installation, welding, fabrication, or construction-related fields.
  • Skilled in using power tools and basic welding equipment.
  • Familiarity with smart locks or electronic lock systems (training provided).
  • Strong physical condition to handle lifting, mounting, and field work.
  • Excellent teamwork, time management, and communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and respect for safety protocols.
  • Valid driver's license is a plus.
