  • We are seeking a dedicated and motivated environmental health and safety (EHS) trainee to join our team. This entry-level position is designed for individuals who are passionate about ensuring a safe and environmentally responsible workplace within the plastic manufacturing industry. The EHS Trainee will receive comprehensive training and mentorship to develop expertise in environmental health and safety practices
Job Description
  • Participate in training programs to gain knowledge of environmental regulations, safety protocols and company policies
  • Shadow experienced EHS professionals to learn best practices in workplace safety, environmental compliance and risk management
  • Assist in monitoring and ensuring compliance with the environmental and safety regulations
  • Assist in preparing reports, documentation and data analysis related to environmental health and safety initiatives
  • Participate in training programs to gain knowledge of environmental regulations, safety protocols and company policies
  • Shadow experienced EHS professionals to learn best practices in workplace safety, environmental compliance and risk management
  • Assist in monitoring and ensuring compliance with the environmental and safety regulations
  • Assist in preparing reports, documentation and data analysis related to environmental health and safety initiatives
  • Participate in safety inspections and hazard assessments to identify potential risks and implement corrective measures
  • Lean to conduct routine safety audits and inspections to ensure adherence to safety guidelines and protocols
  • Assist in developing and implementing emergency response procedures for various scenarios, including fire, chemical spills and medical emergencies
  • Participate in drills and simulations to enhance emergency response preparedness
Qualification Required & Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in environmental science, occupational health and safety or related fied
  • Basic understanding of environmental regulations, safety standards and compliance requirements
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to learn to use safety equipment and tools used in environmental health and safety inspections
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new concepts and practices
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
  • Positive attitude, enthusiasm and commitment to workplace safety and environmental stewardship
