- Manages the institution's stores.
- Undertake petty cash management.
- Undertake banking relations.
- Make entries into the accounting software.
- Prepares tax returns, SSNIT and other superannuation schedules.
- Collects data for the preparation of annual financial reports of the Fund.
- Collects data for the analysis of financial reports.
- Implements financial recommendations contained in audit reports.
- Collects data for the preparation of annual budget for the Unit.
- Collects data for the preparation of annual and other periodic reports for the Unit.
- Maintain appropriate documentation of all source documents and proper filing of accounting documents.
- Complies with the provisions of the financial management laws, regulations and other fiscal policies.
- A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or other related disciplines from an accredited tertiary institution OR a minimum of Level II qualification from a recognised and relevant professional body (e.g. ICA-GH, ACCA, CPA or CIMA).
- Must have completed National Service.
- Knowledge in financial management laws, regulations and fiscal policies.
- Communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
- Knowledge in relevant IT applications.
- Meticulous and attention to details
- High integrity and good ethical standards
