Job DescriptionResponsible For
  • Overseeing all financial planning and analysis
  • Forecasting future financial performance
  • Recommending changes in policies or procedures that will improve financial performance
  • Preparing and analyzing budgets
  • Tracking, reporting and analyzing budget variances
  • Preparing and reviewing the company’s financial statements to ensure accuracy
  • Providing accurate financial reports to management
  • Ensuring compliance with associated government and industry regulations and so on.
Key Relationships
  • Reports to the Managing Director
  • Has oversight of the company’s Finance Department
  • Supports the work of managers and staff of other functional units to ensure efficiency in in-house systems and procedures
  • Plans and spearheads transactional and other engagements with key external parties relevant to the finance, banking, operational and other related functions
Qualification Required & Experience
  • Extensive experience managing finance teams, preparing and analyzing reports and making improvements to financial tools and systems
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • MBA or related post-graduate qualifications will be an added advantage
  • Professional qualifications and expertise of a Chartered Accountant
  • Proven business and commercial acumen in Accounting, budget preparation, variance analysis, revenue management and capital expenditure planning, and other relevant areas
  • Proficient in MS Excel and other financial software, including financial modeling and forecasting tools
  • Deep knowledge of and working familiarity with relevant statutory laws and regulations
  • Uncompromising integrity and ability to maintain a high level of compliance and good corporate governance
  • A strategic thinker with strong leadership, analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to hit the ground running, while blending easily into the new environment and working constructively within a diverse team
  • Attention to detail and accountability
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving and time management skills
