Job Purpose:The Senior Building Engineer will oversee the planning, design, construction, maintenance, and renovation of building structures and facilities. This role demands extensive technical expertise, project leadership, and the ability to supervise teams while ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage complex building projects from conception to completion.

Prepare, review, and approve designs, plans, and specifications for building structures and systems (e.g., structural, mechanical, electrical).

Conduct detailed site assessments, feasibility studies, and structural inspections.

Coordinate with architects, contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure design intent and quality standards are met.

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and site supervisors.

Ensure all construction activities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Develop and monitor project budgets, schedules, and resource plans.

Prepare and present technical reports, proposals, and progress updates to management and clients.

Resolve technical issues, site challenges, or design modifications promptly.

Oversee maintenance, upgrades, and repairs for existing buildings as needed.

Liaise with regulatory bodies to secure necessary permits and approvals.
