- Maintain accurate financial records by recording and posting all transactions (accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger entries), including VAT and WHT.
- Ensure accurate cost allocation and timely accruals.
- Support month-end closing by ensuring completeness and accuracy of financial data.
- Prepare and review monthly financial reports and maintain accurate and complete financial records.
- Maintain and update the fixed asset register and post depreciation.
- Oversee inventory and stock processes, including stock counts and ensure accurate valuation of inventory and livestock.
- Perform foreign exchange (FX) revaluations where necessary.
- Manage data uploads and integration across systems such as Tagetik, Tali and Avihance.
- Improve system alignment and ensure data accuracy across platforms.
- Manage statutory and tax audits and ensure timely tax filings and compliance.
- Liaise with tax authorities and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Maintain proper documentation and filing systems for all financial and corporate records.
- A Master's/Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or other relevant fields.
- Professional Accounting qualification (ICAG, ACCA, or CIMA) preferred.
- Minimum of 4 years' work experience in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Must be analytical and detail-oriented.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in MS Office Suites (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) and major accounting software (e.g., Sage, Tally, QuickBooks).
