Job Vacancy For Managing Director

• To develop and implement strategies, establish systems and controls to manage the operations of the retail market complex

• Jobholders reporting to this position will include Head, Human Resource, Head, Operations and the Accountant.

• Develop and execute strategies to achieve short, medium and long-term goals for the markets, including plans to improve cost efficiency
• Prepare, submit and communicate monthly, half-yearly and annually operational reports in an accurate and timely manner to the Board
• Maintaining positive and trust-based relations with the Board shareholders, and authorities of the markets
• Effectively communicate and present the critical financial issues that can impact on the overall performance and sustainability of the markets to the Board
• Review and evaluate performance of Heads of departments to create abnd maintain effective and efficient management team

• Degree in Property, Land economy, Estate Management, Business Administration, Project/Facility Management. Master's degree is an advantage
• Extensive experience at top-level management or similar role with a minimum of 7 years experience
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills
• Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• In-depth knowledge of the market setting facilities and legal framework governing the acquisition and ownership of market facilities
