- Devise the Organisation’s IT strategy and ensure that all systems necessary to support its operations and objectives are in place.
- Implement the Information Technology strategy
- Translate Organizational Information Technology targets and strategy into meaningful operational targets and strategic focus areas for the business unit under management
- Manage information technology budgets and targets .
- Budgeting and forecasting, and monthly variance analysis for performance against actual results
- Rigorously monitor performance against approved budgets and put measures in place to address variances. Continuously identify areas for improved efficiency
- Translating product roadmaps and features into an achievable delivery plan, considering the people and skills required, and predicting milestones based on forecasts where possible
- Delivering in line with your team's capacity and availability, developing an understanding of the relevant frameworks to leverage supplier needs when necessary, and budgeting effectively for resourcing requirements
- Actively managing risks, issues, and dependencies for your delivery team, acting on delivery data and adapting ways of working to mitigate risks
- Partnering with a Product Manager to develop communication approaches so you can effectively engage with and influence relevant stakeholders, translating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Monitoring trends in team performance and effectiveness, and engaging and motivating the team as required
- Using feedback loops, data analysis, and small experiments to iteratively improve the product, service, and ways of working within the delivery team
- Oversee relationships with vendors, contractors and service providers
- Assess current processes, recommending software upgrades and directing the executive team on the best processes.
- Provide technical guidance on high priority project.
- Execute multiple high impact initiatives to achieve overall goals
- Receive and understand technical briefs delivered by clients / Senior Management
- Respond to any errors or faults identified during software testing.
- Provide leadership in the aspect of Performance direction, goal clarification, communication, engagement, ethics, commitment & energy

- Responsible for team strength & performance level (attraction, selection, retention & development of the IT team)
- Ensure alignment with Team strength, performance and energy matched strategic requirements – under performers identified, improved or removed
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in IT Management / Computer Information Systems
- MBA with emphasis on IT advantageous
- A minimum of 15 years in information technology management leadership role
- Strong strategic and business acumen and experience in information technology
- Extensive experience in developing, deploying and integrating software solutions.
