- Lead and coordinate both the BU's and JV's budgeting, forecasting and performance reviews
- Jointly responsible with the Project Services Manager for leading BU, JV Partners, and Petroleum Commission (PC) meetings on budgeting, forecasting and performance reviews
- Responsible for BU and JV budgeting, forecasting and performance review calendars
- Responsible for costs reviews and variance analysis to ensure that budget holders, BU and JV management have the right level of information for decision making, adherence to budgets, and costs control
- Responsible for maintenance of the BU and JV financial performance scorecards
- Responsible for BU/Group time writing, G&A and Shared Services Costs allocation processes
- Coordinate and manage of periodic meetings with budget and contract holders to review performance and update forecasts
- Continuous assessment and improvement of BU and JV management reporting processes
- Coordinating and management of the interface between Finance and Project Services Manager and Cost Engineers to enhance collaboration and minimize duplication of efforts, ultimately ensuring accurate and timely BU planning, budgeting, and forecasting
- Specifically responsible for co-ordinating with Cost Engineers, Budget Holders, and the Financial Controller in ensuring accuracy of value of works done (VOWD) recorded at the of each month
- Jointly responsible with the Financial Controller for ensuring required WBS/Cost centres needed to record and monitor expenditure are maintained
- Responsible for managing, training and development of direct reports
- Responsible for managing the annual budgeted spend of over $ 1 billion
- Responsible for Ad hoc management financial performance projects assistance
- Able to manage BU and JV management accounting risks and worked with best-in-class governance processes and compliance with Group policies (Budgeting, forecasting and management reporting) and JOA's
- Broad range of Oil and Gas technical finance and/or operational competencies is an advantage
- Proven functional and general leadership ability, able to coach and mentor staff
- Strong experience in management accounting, budgeting, or forecasting
- Excellent time management skills
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, and knowledge of SAP & COGNOS is an advantage
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to build relationships with wide range of internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent Communication and presentation skills
- A minimum of 7 years' post-qualification experience
- Significant experience in a senior financial or project management position within a international Oil and Gas, Mining or Manufacturing industries,
- Good working knowledge of Joint Ventures particularly in the areas of preparation of joint venture budgets and forecasts, and monitoring compliance to the same
