Job Vacancy For DriverWe are a fast-growing manufacturing industry, seeking an experienced Driver to be a part of our vibrant team of professionals.Job Title: DriverReports to: Logistics and Inventory ManagerPosition Summary
  • As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for safely operating your company assigned vehicle.
  • You will have a strong focus on safety, excellent customer service skills, and a clean driving record.
  • You are likely to be assigned as the personal driver to the CEO and high-level visitors.
  • You must possess an international drivers license, have experience driving VIPs.
  • You must be fluent in the English language with speaking, reading and writing.
  • You must also be someone discreet, presentable and well-mannered.
  • You must have adequate geographic knowledge of the various regions of Ghana, particularly Accra as well as the north and nearby countries.
The goal is to ensure driver professionalism is taken to another level to contribute meaningfully to the growth of the company.Key Responsibilities
  • Safely and responsibly operate company vehicles, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and maintenance standards
  • Understand the mechanics of vehicles and vehicle maintenance and repair
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements
  • Maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance, fuel consumption, and trip logs
  • Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers
  • Collaborate with the team to optimize routes and delivery schedules
  • Work long hours as may be required, including early mornings and weekends, sometimes at short notice
  • Have excellent communication skills and be a team player
  • Provide country information and other general assistance to official visitors
Qualification Required & ExperienceKey Requirements and Skills
  • Secondary school certificate, Diploma or higher level education
  • Valid and clean drivers' license, with no records of accidents in the past 12 months
  • Possession of an international driver's license will be an added advantage
  • Strong knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience working with a reputable firm
  • Excellent ability to correctly listen to instructions, carry them out with minimal effort, and report back when completed
  • Spoken and written fluency in English expected, local languages especially Akan and Northern Ghana desirable
  • Geographic knowledge of the various regions especially Accra and northern Ghana
  • Demonstrated reliability, honesty, commitment, ability to work hard, and eager to serve on a team
