We ask employees to be present in the office at least three days per week.Are you ready to bring the right energy to Petrofac and help us deliver a better future for everyone?JOB TITLE: PUMPMANThis role is a 24 months fixed contract in Ghana.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:· Be responsible for executing all control systems functioning for assigned/designated areas.· Assists Services Supervisor in loading, storage, internal transfer and offloading of crude oil.· Assists in the maintenance of accommodation and Deck utilities and marine-related equipment including cargo pumps, valves and piping systems, gauging and sampling equipment, deck and valve hydraulics, off-take mooring equipment, Crude Oil Washing (COW), and Inert Gas Systems.· Ensures that the offtake equipment and machinery, such as the IG system, offtake meter, and cargo pumps, are functioning correctly.· Performs routine cargo, slops, and ballast sampling as per operational requirements.· Assists Services Supervisor with Crude Oil Washing (COW), tank water washing, purging and gas-freeing operations.· Assists Services Supervisor with routine tank inspection and repairs as required.· Perform as a Coxswain on a Lifeboat.· Assist the Marine CRO on the weekly Lifeboat maintenance.· Carries out maintenance on the life-saving and Firefighting appliances specific to Marine equipment under the guidance of the HSE Coordinator.· Assists Deck Foreman in deck operations as required.· Acts as helicopter deck crew when required.· Ensures that the FPSO Waste Management Plan is strictly adhered to.ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:· Mechanical Technician/Experience pumpman on a Tanker· Work as a pumpman on a Tanker vessel· At least few years or more in relevant field· Ability to utilize interpersonal skills in resolving issues.· Be able to do maintenance on valves.· Demonstrated ability to work on own initiative.· Good Interpersonal skills#LI-SG1Additional Information
