We are looking for a dynamic Subsea Construction Engineer to join us on a Permanent (hybrid) basis, located at our Accra office, with periodic travel to the office in Takoradi.[ad]Job PurposeResponsible for the planning, execution, and management of subsea projects, including installation, intervention on subsea infrastructure, and management of Light Construction Vessel Contract.Key Roles and Responsibilities
  • Manage all aspects of Subsea LCV operations in line with operations integrated plan
  • Ensure Conformance with the Company’s EHS Management System process
  • Ensure safety is a priority and all operations aim to be "Incident Free"
  • Review subsea intervention procedures from Contractors
  • Ensure all Tullow Offshore Operations Procedures are followed
  • Ensure, before decisions are made, that economical and commercial evaluations are carried out to ensure optimal dispositions
  • Manage IMR Vessel contract
  • Manage manning levels and ensure 2nd ROV crew mobilization is optimized based on upcoming schedule
  • Ensure vessel schedule is maintained and promptly updated with new work scope and fed to planner
  • Manage stakeholder requests to ensure vessel scopes are aligned with operations priorities, as confirmed by the Subsea Operations Manager
  • Ensure Management of Change procedures (MoC) are appropriately applied
  • Ensure all Operational lessons learned are captured, communicated and improvements are implemented in a timely manner.
  • Ensure that all activities are performed in a cost-effective manner
  • Ensure monthly invoices are per approved DPR and any disputes are properly documented and resolved
  • Obtain PORs from vendors for the procurement of critical items.
  • Visit or be resident at Contractor worksites to monitor, assess and track all construction work executed in-country by Contractors.
  • Manage the interface at site level between Tullow, the fabrication subcontractors, and the LCV contractor.
  • Work with Contractors to meet safety, quality, and performance requirements, on schedule.
  • Coordinate with engineering vendor to organize HAZIDs HAZOPs in the Subsea domain.
  • Participate in constructability reviews, construction/installation risk assessments, and other construction related reviews.
  • Participate to subsea equipment testing (FAT, EFAT, SIT, SWT) and qualification programs.
RequirementsExperience & Education
  • Professional Degree in Engineering
Skills
  • Minimum 5 years of Subsea Construction Engineering experience in Oil and Gas platforms
  • Proven understanding of offshore operations, construction, installation and commissioning activities & key interfaces with respect to project management, planning & execution.
