- To establish systematic guidelines and procedures for the development of an integrated and comprehensive policies and plans for educational assessment.
- Analyse and advise on the harmonization of assessment methodologies/regimes for the acceptance of certificates issued in Ghana by employers and international institutions
- Monitor and evaluate the relevance of all assessment regimes and development assessment policies, guidelines and standards for the various levels of education and training
- Analyse data on compliance with exams regulations, examination results published, relevance of certificates and authentication of results slips and certificates as a feedback for assessment review
- Liaise with relevant institutions to review curriculum and instructions aimed at aligning them to the priorities of government, changing standards and industrial needs
- Undertake research/surveys/tracer studies to identify new methodologies, regulations and standards for assessment that will enhance the credibility and integrity of Ghana's assessment procedures
- Establish a portfolio of plans and projects with the view of addressing special interest and/or inadequacies in assessment plans and policies
- Must possess a relevant Master's Degree with research experience from an accredited institution
- A minimum of 10 years of post qualification relevant working experience
