- Assist the Human Resource Manager in the performance of (HR) function of the bank
- Assist in the Provision of leadership, direction and advise management on HR issues
- Assist in planning, co-ordinating and supervising HR activities such as planning, recruitment, orientation, training and development, compensation and benefits, employee health and well-being etc
- Assist in driving staff discipline and effective cultural changes that are required to ensure successful achievement of organizational objectives
- Assist the Human Resource management in ensuring that each staff has a performance contract and assist in other performance management activities, such as preparation of appraisal, monitoring and evaluation reports of staff
- Assist in preparation of periodic reports on HR function within the bank to management and board
- Assist the HRM in ensuring that the Bank's policies, rules and regulations are well communicated and made available to staff
- Help in analyzing staff monthly attendance register to generate reports on punctuality, adsenteeism and lateness
- Regular update of HR databases including employee data, sick leave data, staff directory, annual leave data staff birthdays, staff work anniversaries
- Perform other duties as assigned by management or board
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource management or organizational development
- Post-graduate degree in Human Management or organizational development will be an added advantage
- Minimum of 5 years working experience in Human resource/people management
- Must be resolute, firm and fair
- Ability to communicate effectively both written, orally and with staff
- Must have good understanding of labour laws, the bank's policies and procedures
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Tools
- Must have good presentation skills
- Ability to train/facilitate training programs
- Conversant with best practices in Human Resources Management
