Job Vacancy For Entomologist

• Develop and conduct experimental studies with insects in controlled or natural surroundings
• Collect and analyze biological data and specimens
• Study the characteristics of insects, including interactions with other species and their environment, reproduction, population dynamics, diseases, and movement patterns
• Research, initiate, and maintain breeding programs for insects
• Estimate, monitor, and manage insect populations
• Write research papers, reports, and scholarly articles that explain findings
• Studying insect anatomy, physiology, behavior, and ecology to identify new species or understand more about existing species
• Studying the effects of environmental factors on insect populations, such as weather patterns, seasonal changes, and manmade influences such as pesticides or other toxins
• Identifying insect species and classifying them according to their physical characteristics
• Researching insect behavior and habitat requirements, including diet preferences and mating habits
• Collecting specimens of insects for study in a lab setting or field conditions

• A minimum of bachelor's degree in Entomology/ Agriculture/ Biological Sciences
• Candidates must have 2-3 years working experience as an Entomologist
• Experience in field work & project management
• Should be willing to relocate
• Should be willing to work on farm

• Strong writing and speaking skills, critical-thinking skills, observation and problem-solving skills, Proficiency in operating computer database systems, geographic information systems and modeling software
