Job Vacancy For LecturersThe Simon Diedong Dombo University of Business and Integrated Development Studies (SDDUBIDS), a public Tertiary Education Institution established by an Act of Parliament SDDUBIDS Act 2019 (Act 1001), located in the Upper West Regional Capital, Wa, Ghana, invites applications from suitably qualified persons to fill the following vacancies: LecturersJOB DESCRIPTION
  • The duties and responsibilities of successful candidates shall include but not limited to: teaching, research, technology adaptation, innovation and publication; curriculum development; setting and marking of assignments and examination questions; invigilation of examinations; submitting of marked scripts and results; supervision of students project work, dissertation and theses; offering academic counseling to students, assisting in the administration of the department; supervision of students internships and industry visits; mentoring of junior colleagues, extension work and/or service to the University and the nation; and any other related duties assigned by the Vice-Chancellor or his/her representative.
Qualification Required & ExperienceA person seeking appointment as Lecturer must:
  • Possess a PhD in the relevant field of specialization;
  • Two/three publications will be an added advantage;
  • Have some appreciable industrial experience or skill in Competency-Based Training (CBT); and
  • Membership of a recognized professional body will be an added advantage.
