Job Vacancy For Cyber Security Officer (Assistant Registrar II)The West African Examinations Council, a sub-regional organization responsible for the conduct of various examinations in the English-speaking West African countries invites applications from suitably qualified persons to fill the under-mentioned vacant positions in its Ghana National Office.POSITIONS: Cyber Security Officer (Assistant Registrar II)Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe successful applicant will be required to perform the following duties among others in the Information Communication Technology Division.

Perform penetration tests or working directly with penetration testers to assess potential security problems
Develop organization-wide security measures
Document known security breaches and vulnerabilities
Keep users informed by preparing performance reports; communicating system status
Stay up-to-date on the latest information technology (IT)and cybersecurity developments

Qualifications and ExperienceApplicant must:

Possess a minimum of First Degree in Computer Science or allied disciplines from a recognized University ( at least Second-Class Lower Division)
A Master's Degree in Digital Forensics and Cyber Security will be an added advantage.
Have at least three (3) years of hands-on practical experience.

Be able to successfully implement good ideas.
Be proficient in using personal computers, MS Office Software packages and have knowledge of web-based systems.

All applicants must possess a minimum of SSSCE/WASSCE/GBCE/GCE “O” Level Examination Certificate or their equivalents with credits in five subjects including English Language and Mathematics, at ONE (1) sitting, or SSSCE/WASSCE/GBCE/GCE “O” Level Examination Certificate with credits in six subjects, including English Language and mathematics, at not more than TWO sittings.Minimum Educational Requirement

All applicants must not be more than forty (40) years of age, except applicants for the position of Senior Stores Officer II, who should not be more than 45 years of age at the close of the advertisement for the position.
