  • P Maersk Ghana is looking for a motivated and knowledgeable Technical Agent in Tema. The position holder will have to ensures optimal management of all the logistical resources made available to him/her in view of the execution of all operations within the contractual deadlines in the most efficiency manner and under the prescribed security conditions by APM Terminal.
Also, He/She will have to be the main coordinator of the physical operations execution of the fleet department and documentation preparation for billing.Key responsibilities:
  • Receive the planning of operations and equipment available.
  • Coordinate with CX/Depot/OCL to get files.
  • Organize and assign drivers to different operations.
  • Monitor and communicate constantly & regularly with drivers to ensure the smooth running of operations.
  • Handle all challenges and avoid any waste of time in the execution.
  • Anticipate any operational challenges to minimize operational impacts.
  • Push to avoid idle time for our trucks
  • Prepare all data for billing
  • Ensure Archive of documentation
  • Reports any incidents during the shift
  • Establish the final report of the shift activities (feedback report) and share with the fleet supervisor.
Required experience, skills and competencies:
  • Bachelor in Shipping or transport and logistics.
  • min 2 years of experience in Shipping or transport and logistics.
  • Knowledge in road transportation.
  • Conversational English level and fluency in French.
  • Analytic, well organized, energetic, and problem solver
  • A self-starter with sense of urgency and time management
  • Able to work under pressure
