Job Vacancy For Head, International TradeThe Bank is looking to fill the following vacancy within its settlements Division: Head, International TradeSpecific Duties & Responsibilities
  • Responsible for planning and developing strategic initiatives for the international Trade group
  • Manage, develop and implement policies, procedures, processes and services related to international settlement functions
  • Management of correspond banking relationships (opening correspondent utilization and pricing etc.)
  • Exercises judgement in developing and communicating procedures regarding all settlement issues and inquiries from other units within the bank
  • Ensure that controls and procedures for all units within the Group in relation to all regulatory and processing requirements are being adhered to
  • Mentor junior members of the team
Qualification Required & Experience
  • A University degree in a Business related course with a minimum of second class lower. A Master's degree in international Trade & Finance (Or relevant equivalent) is an advantage
  • A minimum of 10 years working experience in International Trade
Job RequirementsThe successful candidate should have:
  • Practical knowledge of UCP 600, URC 500, OSP 98, URDG758, ISBP 745
  • Thorough knowledge of the Foreign Exchange laws and notices of Ghana
  • A good working knowledge of all the modules on the ICUMS
