Job Vacancy For Legal Officer IIThe West African Examinations Council, a sub-regional organization responsible for the conduct of various examinations in the English-speaking West African countries invites applications from suitably qualified persons to fill the under-mentioned vacant positions in its Ghana National Office.POSITIONS: Legal Officer IIDuties and ResponsibilitiesThe successful applicant will report to the Head, Legal Department and will be required to perform the following duties among others:

Undertake due diligence compliance tasks assigned.
Conduct legal research on matters required.
Ensure conformity with statutory government practices.
Provide advisory services on legal matters.
Assist in the development of guidelines, policies, and procedures.
Perform legal vetting of documents and commercial contracts.
Conduct risk analysis and mitigation.
Represents the Council in court and before quasi-judicial bodies.

Qualifications and ExperienceApplicant must:

Possess a minimum of Bachelor of Law degree from a recognized University.
Be a member of Ghana Bar Association
Have at least five years of relevant pre/post qualification experience in the assessment industry
